Cat Quest II Review

Despite the transformative addition of coop multiplayer, Cat Quest II is more a refinement to its predecessor than an evolution.

Quest’s plain levels are a bore to navigate and its initially-clever combat systems soon mistake complexity for depth.

Dyadic is at its best when it is played as it is intended: by two players, sitting side-by-side, grasping a single controller between them.

Dredge layers a creepy atmosphere on unique fishing mechanics to create an engrossing and original adventure.

Cat Quest is an exhilarating intersection of speed and simplicity.

SteamWorld Heist has the potential for fun shooting and challenging strategy but is occasionally undermined by randomization and repetition.

Vampire Survivors is great fun to learn, but once I know what I am doing my interest wanes.

Potion Permit has good puzzle and simulation ideas that are ground down by tedious busywork.

Kaze and the Wild Masks is a complete package: beautiful graphics, excellent platforming mechanics, and satisfactory challenge.

The more I play Shovel Knight Dig, the less I enjoy it.
