The part of me that enjoys seeking out the common relationship between uncommon objects is overjoyed by A Little to the Left’s simple conceit.

Airoheart is too inexpertly crafted to be enjoyable.

Squad 51 vs. the Flying Saucers is a visual and aesthetic treat and I recommend it for those reasons—and only for those reasons.

Foretales disrespects my time and effort.

Vampire Survivors is great fun to learn, but once I know what I am doing my interest wanes.

Of the indie videogames I played in 2022, I feel these are the five best.
