Guacamelee! Review

Guacamelee! is a fantastic change of pace for players who want to add some beat ’em up spice to their non-linear platforming.

Gun Crazy is structurally incoherent and a visual mess. I can’t recommend it at any price.

If I were to forget why non-linear platformers are my favorite videogames, I would only need to sit down with Xeodrifter.

Airoheart is too inexpertly crafted to be enjoyable.

If there’s a reason to play Curse of the Sea Rats, it’s for the phenomenal quality of its animation.

Despite the transformative addition of coop multiplayer, Cat Quest II is more a refinement to its predecessor than an evolution.

Squad 51 vs. the Flying Saucers is a visual and aesthetic treat and I recommend it for those reasons—and only for those reasons.

Dredge layers a creepy atmosphere on unique fishing mechanics to create an engrossing and original adventure.

Mechstermination Force is brief, joyously challenging, delightful to look at, and wonderful to hear.
