Dyadic is at its best when it is played as it is intended: by two players, sitting side-by-side, grasping a single controller between them.

Elderand is competent but does little to subvert my expectations or upset my complacency.

Dredge layers a creepy atmosphere on unique fishing mechanics to create an engrossing and original adventure.

Mechstermination Force is brief, joyously challenging, delightful to look at, and wonderful to hear.

SteamWorld Heist has the potential for fun shooting and challenging strategy but is occasionally undermined by randomization and repetition.

Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is an adequate retro platformer that plays to its developer’s strengths.

Mortal Shell is a contradiction: an inadequate and acceptable alternative to an infamous inspiration.

Foretales disrespects my time and effort.

Vampire Survivors is great fun to learn, but once I know what I am doing my interest wanes.
