Anuchard Review

The feelings which overwhelm almost all my time with Anuchard are boredom and indifference.

The young Link’s Awakening fan in me finds a lot to enjoy in Saga of the Moon Priestess.

I am uncertain if Frogsong is successful in its queer storytelling, but I appreciate its effort.

If I didn’t know better I would believe Prison City is a classic 8-bit action-platformer, resurrected and polished for current audiences.

Thunder Ray has the essence of a great boxing videogame but is held back by a few minor yet notable flaws.

Gunbrella leaves me feeling listless, bereft, and bored.

Ravenlok is a wonderland devoid of wonder.

I give Bloodroots high marks for its narrative and ludic cohesion, bevy of improvised weapons, and slick visual style.

I admire Bleak Sword for its simplicity, but its punishment for dying keeps me from giving it a whole-hearted recommendation.

Unsighted’s time limiting mechanics make me feel for its characters in ways that pushes it towards the top tiers of greatness.
